Frank Owusu Amoateng was born in Nkoranza, Kumasi. Amoateng went from being a poor student to receiving academic honors from Central University and eventually attending pastoral school at the Assemblies of God Pastoral School. As an associate pastor at Faith Assembly of God, he also devotes his time ministering the gospel across the country. As a young man, his training and interests were in spreading the gospel. Through this interest, Amoateng was selected as the School Chaplain in Kumasi High School in the year 2000. Today his ministry is radically impacting lives all over the world through live radio service, and online church services. Each week, Amoateng’s sermons are broadcast by radio stations in Kumasi. In 2008, he received an invitation to minister to the late president JEA Mills before and after he was sworn-in as president.
